Sundays: Sunday School
Sunday school group for pre school – P7 kids with games, crafts and Bible teaching.
Midweek: After School Club
Mondays’ 3.05-4.15pm. Crafts, stories, songs, games and a Bible story. Pickup provided from Burghead Primary. for P1-6
Annually: Holiday Club
Crazy fun, games, songs, crafts and Bible stories for P1-7 (usually last week of school holidays).
Tuesdays: Pathfinders
Youth fellowship with pizza and Bible study (weekly, 7-8.15pm at 15 Mason Haugh Rise).
Fridays: Youth Club
Computer games, pool, table football, table tennis, outdoor stuff…. and a place to hang out + a ‘thought for the day’ spot each week.
Youth Club brings over 45 youth (aged 11-16) to a range of regular activities and special events. They enjoy games indoors and out, team building activities, craft, drama, debate, pool, table football, table tennis and a message of the week. We are passionate about helping these young people develop as responsible young citizens. We train the older youth as Junior Leaders and 2 of these are members of the Community Council with the result that the youth in the village have a ‘voice’ in the Community. The Junior Leaders receive training in First Aid, Safeguarding and Behaviour Management and take a strong lead in events the Youth run for their own community. The Youth Club is involved in an ongoing ‘Caring for Burghead and its People’ project and organise community events for all ages. Members increase in confidence, build on cooperative and organisational skills, and thoroughly enjoy contributing to village life.
